Special
Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) is conducted by Union Public Service
Commission (UPSC) on behalf of Indian Railways for four years of
apprenticeship. On successfully complete SCRA are absorbed as Class1 officers
in Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME).
