Odisha Pride is trying to build
Odisha’s image through its website ‘www.odishapride.com’ and
‘Odisha Gauraba”, an electronic magazine in Odia script. Much acclaimed “Run
against Drug Abuse” campaign at Berhampur, Relief to the Cyclone and Flood
victims in Odisha and State level Youth Convention - Yuva Prerana in the recent
past were our few initiatives to send across a right message to the right
people.
As an Organization with social concern, Odisha Pride has the mission to uplift mankind and society and spread happiness in their life through the pursuit of Education, Social Services and health related programmes and facilities. Hence the slogan "More Happiness More Life".
We at Odisha Pride involve people of the state in the process of development of Education, health and also make them aware about their legal rights. We have the following objectives to achieve our goal.
-- To care for and strive for improvement of physical, mental and social health of the people of Odisha.
-- To organize health camps and other related activities for the purpose.
-- To implement education and family welfare programmes through female literacy and women empowerment etc.
-- To take up steps for eradication of social evils viz. Dowry system, use of intoxicated drugs, Child marriage and Child Labour etc.
-- To protect the Environment.
-- To promote literacy, culture, and social activities by awareness programmes.
-- To organise seminars on social justice, education, health and legal rights etc.
-- To bring back the real pride of our state - its culture, tradition, heritages which are in a process of slow depletion and hence to help building a prosperous Odisha.
